Great buy, it is not 100% true as others have stated, but it gets the job done. I recommend buying the collet nut set for more precision work, its only $15 to get them both, and it is great to have when you need it. This should be included with every dremel sold. Fits the Dremel 300 series with no problems. The chuck adds a little extra length, so working in small areas may require the use of the collet nut set.

this makes changing between different sized tools easier but often comes loose and the bit spins out, which can be a hassle/.

I don't know I like this idea about this thing that you don't have to use any tools to thing this thing. I tried to use on my router table and this doesn't holds strong enough. A lot of times I try to tight this really hard and still will not hold. I would not recommend this if you use a lot of routing bits.

This is one of the best accessories I've added to my Dremel tool box. It is so simple, it's hard to believe I've waited this long to get it. It got 4 stars, because I think it is a little expensive for what it is, but worth it when you work with multiple bits. JV
