The Black & Decker PS140 Fire Storm 14-2/5-Volt 1-2/5-Amp NiCad Pod Style Battery
Is a big improvement over the ones I have from 1999 and 2000, more reserve power and takes a charge faster.They fit my 11 year old drill perfectly, R a nice addition to my B & D collection. I bought three and they last so long I only really needed two. I am glad I can still get them as my B & D set has a lot of life left.

I was given a Bush/hedge trimmer from a relative with a small catch. The current battery in the unit was damaged and he didn't know how it happened. The order easy to place online. I ordered two thinking hedge trimming usually takes me several hours. Batteries arrived as excepted. I was expected the batteries to take overnight to charge not knowing much about them. They each took about 15-20 minutes to fully charge. Actual time may have been less as I only checked on their charging status only once each. I was surprised to find one battery lasted through an entire trimming episode. I used the 2nd battery at anohter location and had the same experience. I would recommend this product to someone else>

The batteries were the correct ones for my tools and arrived in good condition and on a timely basis. The batteries have functioned as desired. I will purchase more batteries in the future for my other tools from the same source.
I would recommend using Amazon, versus the hardware store, prices are better and availability is not an issue.
